Being a mother…

“Being a mother, is being HUMAN”

I could have never imagined playing myriad roles, if I was not a mother. I believe it implies to most of us. You are the first teacher, cook , nurse, help , driver , inspiration and guide to your child.

Motherhood has taught me compassion and patience which I never thought existed in me. Motherhood teaches me to pause and enjoy the little joys of life, nurture and nourish the moment before it leaves me.

Being a mother is learning, unlearning and re learning all at the same time. It’s introduced me to my strengths and also made me vulnerable. It gives me the power to stand up and also has given me the heart to sit to listen.

Parenting makes a person human. It explores all the human like qualities and enabled the ordinary to become extra ordinary. Most importantly it transforms you into a nice human being, and this is why I often tell my kids to just be nice.

Happiness and sunshine 🌼
