These tulips defy the cold,
The harsh winds they hold,
Standing strong and bold,
Treat to every eye they behold.
Why can I not be a tulip?
Why do I take every stride on my hip?
Why do I want to please everyone?
When I do no justice to me the only one?
Why do words effect my sanity?
Why do I hold them in my vanity?
Why do the sediments in my mind?
Smirk and laugh at my behind ?
When will these dissolve?
My inner conflicts resolve?
When will I make peace?
Not with anyone but myself.
These tulips give me strength,
To understand words that meant.
To choose my fights wisely
Not with anyone but myself.
Now I want to give me time,
To laugh at my own mime.
To love to my hearts content,
And lead life with no resent.
Happiness and sunshine 🌼
Nidhi
Delightful and with deep thought.
