Me to Sparsh: Do you know the difference between animal cells and plant cells?
Sparsh: nods, yes
Me : Now that you know, why don’t you draw them for me and show the difference?
Sparsh: Yes,but… and he forgets to label the differences.
At another instance;
Anaya : Mom can you help me with long division ?
Me: Sure, first revise your multiplication tables.
Anaya: Nodding, I know them.
Me : let’s do this then, 12* 3= ? , 9*7= ?
Anaya: hmmmmmm… mom I am confused.
“Well, why don’t you both revise your portions before nodding your heads?” I advised.
“But we knew it mom!” They say.
And here lies the GAP. The know it all attitude puts you no where while a learning cap always takes you places.Don’t you nod your head in agreement without even knowing a subject sometimes just you prove your smartness?
Come to think of it, not just kids, as adults you and I do the same. Where? Everywhere! In the board room, amongst friends, over open forums.
When you say you know it all, that’s when you prevent yourself from knowing the subject. Learning never stops. A same situation can give multiple learning’s at different times.
Hope you take away a good learning from each day you live.
Happiness and sunshine 🌼

My recent poem is about a student I have worked with, must be serendipity for the subject, I like how you played it.

So true, we only stop learning when we die, that was a wise saying that my grandmother used to tell me and now I tell my kids all the time 😃

Absolutely when green we learn and when red we rot.
