Let me not do the usual today,
Help me pass on the clutter away.
I hear the wind ringing my chimes,
As the crisp leaves leave their twine.
Here I am sipping chamomile,
Relaxing and letting the mind unpile.
The flowers swell up leaving their colour
The colour that fills my day with colour.
The golden liquid kisses my lips,
A calming note plays in my ribs.
I leave my screen and look for a pen,
To scrabble my thoughts instantly then.
I see myself amidst chamomile,
My heart warms up a gentle smile.
The soft white petals touch my skin,
Yellow and white like Yan and Yin.
And when I was about to sing ….
My phone rings ding ding.
Hello, I say with a startled look,
Mom asks,”What should I cook?”

A Monday morning self talk over a hot cup of chamomile. Sitting at my desk over looking a large green tree.
Some days are simple yet fulfilling. Busy yet mindful, ordinary yet extra ordinary.
Happiness and sunshine
