Being Childlike

Childlike really?

Yes, why not!

But how?

“The child is in me still, and sometimes not so still…”

When you still crave to be with your mom,

And fly on swings high,

When you salivate at the sight of raw mangoes,

And love colourful lollies,

When the heart swells at the sight of rain,

And paper boats come alive,

When memories fill you with life,

And brighten your eyes,

When you are curious to know,

To touch, feel and explore,

When you can imagine anything,

And weave stories dreamlike,

When you accept willingly,

And express innocently,

Give generously,

And demand sparingly,

When you fall and get up again,

Believe in you and others alike,

Have faith and never give up,

And love unconditionally,

Then you are childlike,

Then you are alive.

Simple

Be childlike

Happiness and sunshine 🌼

The inner child is so importnat – the curiosity, inquisitive nature the wonderment and excitement are all essential to our growth and development but which adults, sadly squash down at their peril, great piece.
