This day I held you in my arms

Your eyes twinkled like charms,

Your little fingers brushed my hands

A language which only I could understand,

Your small yawns and little cries

Added warmth to each sunrise,

The soft curves of your lips

Faded away all my dips,

Your mild fragrance that baby smell

Casted on me a magical spell,

You touched my heart, body and soul

Pouring happiness beyond control,

And sang the most melodious tune 

The lub dub of your little heart !
